Assure DeFi® is the industry’s most recognized project KYC provider with over 1000+ successful KYCs to date. They work closely with the industry’s top launchpads, incubators and investors as well as government agencies like the SEC and FBI on occasion.
That being said, their wordpress-hosted landing page and project platform desperately needed to be designed and built in a way that reflected their market leading status and drive more purchase conversions. Their customers were directed through an unnecessarily long and visually inconsistent purchase flow and there was so much information that visitors were feeling overwhelmed. This all led to drop offs in the funnel.
I came onboard to re-design the landing page, the platform and KYC purchase conversion flows. I worked closely with the CEO, marketers and devs to radically simplify the site and bring a significantly shorter KYC purchase flow into the main landing page. I also re-designed their KYC deliverable profiles and set them up with a foundation for a much more comprehensive and scalable platform long term.
I wanted the overall look to feel like a luxury passport to match the brand's "ticket to success" positioning. It was critical that we highlight the problem + solution above the fold whilst also giving the user to immediately start a purchase. I also added a mandatory email field here so that we could collect email drop offs in the purchase flow for email re-targetting.
Just below the fold I designed a partners section backed up by some impressive metrics to increase credibility in the brand.
Social proof is key here so I added this testimonial carousel section with a direct quote and a screenshot of the customer's Assure profile (which I also re-designed a couple of times after this variation)
I wanted to playfully depict web3 wallet code in this auditing section by designing a traditional wallet shape with the code inside.
This client is proud that they are the only firm in the space who criminally pursue projects who defraud their communities. I used the red to convey threat and the blue/red combo gradient on the sides hints at their law enforcement partnerships.
This final section on the landing page re-emphasises the team's legitimacy and I used an enlarged version of their badge icon to frame the final purchase CTA.
Beyond the initial landing page I also designed their project platform that boasts 1000+ different KYC and Audit records. I wanted this to match the same style as the landing page but feel more like an app so that this can evolve into something much more powerful over time.
I re-designed these profiles completely and made them mobile-first seeing that most traffic to these comes from mobile devices (via social). I took what used to be a longer full page report and broke it up into 3 sections for "KYC", "Audits" and "Charts" so that these pages can scale without requiring lots of scrolling. I nested team member information into dropdowns to save more space and added more urgent upsells in the case that an audit or KYC hadn't been completed.
